This compact ground floor house has another wing which separates itself from the family entertainment space to their private habitable space, which has two bedrooms. The way the construction has gone with the characteristics of the plot and customized the needs of its once in a while occupants makes the house a special creation.
This modern home would be an ideal choice for new couple or a small family. The cuboid shaped pillars and walls show no trace of curves, making this house more modern. The sit out and living that lead into the interiors have a rustic finish. White paint is used in all the remaining sections of the house. If the area is considered, the interiors are not very specious. A living room, dining hall, kitchen, work area, one common toilet, stair room and 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms add up only 1176 square feet. A number of pillars are seen through out the house supporting and beautifying the entire structure.
However, what makes the house special is the optimum utilization of space. The spaces in the interiors are interconnected which make them look vast and specious. The dining table which can accommodate 6 person’s doesn’t take up much space the walls are painted with lighter shades. The stairway begins from the dining space and the wash area is arranged beneath the stair. The living and dining hall area is more specious. In addition the plan covers a modular kitchen with convenient work area attached and a massive roof top terrace. This residence is designed by Santhosh. The cost of constructing this house is approximately 18 lacks.
